We are non-profit humanitarian and community group based in Kailua Kona, inviting children from Fukushima to Kona during their summer vacation for learning, healing and playing. Learning includes Permaculture, Farm to table practice, Natural Medicine based on Japanese traditional healing method, Connection Practice by Rasur Foundation International, healing by preparing and eating local organic food daily while in Hawaii, and playing in the abundant nature of Hawaii.
We have invited about 100 children and their moms, chaperons since 2013. Their airfare subsidiary, room and board for 2 weeks to 1 months stay in Hawaii, activities (dolphin swim, snorkelling, volcano national park, going to beaches), rental car, drivers, etc. takes a lot of resources, and we need to raise $30,000 a year to keep the program alive. We do many kinds of fundraising events such as Concerts, ZUMBA Parties, Food Events, Talk Shows and Community Garage Sale and Silent Auctions. Hope we will meet you one of our events in Kona or you can donate to our cause to support us. We accept personal checks: Fukushima Kids Hawaii, 75-286 Hoene Street, Kailua Kona, HI96740
